This Privacy Policy explains how Voov ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our English–Georgian dictionary and study tools available at voov.ge.

Information We Collect

We design Voov to work with minimal personal data. By default, we store the following locally in your browser only (not on our servers):

• Recent searches
• Flashcard deck items and study progress (SRS)
• Language and display preferences

Our servers may collect basic technical logs (e.g., IP address, user agent, error traces) to operate and secure the service. We do not build user profiles from these logs.

Cookies and Local Storage

Voov uses browser storage (such as localStorage) to keep your deck items, progress, and preferences on your device. We may also use essential cookies for site functionality.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may display ads provided by Google AdSense on content pages. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and/or other websites.

We may use privacy‑respecting analytics or aggregated server logs to understand feature usage and improve quality. Such analytics focus on events and performance and are not used to profile individual users.

• Maintain security, debug issues, and prevent abuse
• Measure and improve app performance and usability

Data Retention

Data stored in your browser remains until you remove it (e.g., clear site data or use the app’s “clear” actions). Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations.

• Clear your browser data to remove local searches, deck, and progress
• Use browser settings to block/clear cookies

Children’s Privacy

Voov is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Voov may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third‑party websites.
